Odi Boosted Chia Jam

A quick, nutrient-packed jam using fresh seasonal fruit, chia seeds, and a boost of nutrients from the Odi Smoothie Booster. Perfect for topping yogurt, pancakes, or porridge!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of berries or very ripe stone fruit (e.g., peaches, nectarines, apricots, or plums)
  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tsp Odi Smoothie Booster
  • 1 Tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • A squeeze of lemon

Method

  1. Prepare the Fruit:
    Measure 2 cups of fruit and place them into a saucepan over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of water, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes or until the fruit is softened and has released plenty of liquid.
  2. Sweeten and Mash:
    Turn off the heat. Add honey or maple syrup and lemon juice to the cooked fruit and mix well. Use a fork to mash the fruit, ensuring no large lumps remain. The texture should be slightly chunky but not overly lumpy.
  3. Add Chia Seeds and Odi Booster:
    Stir in the chia seeds and Odi Smoothie Booster, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  4. Set the Jam:
    Transfer the mixture to a jar and refrigerate for a few hours to allow the jam to set.
  5. Storage:
    Store your chia jam in the fridge for up to one week.
